You have probably found generic articles saying that “many places are accessible” without a single detail you can actually verify. Or spent hours reading Booking filters that promise a “fully accessible property” without knowing whether you can really rely on them.
This is not a generic London guide. It is a practical accessibility guide for the trip.
This guide comes from a specific experience: travelling with an electric wheelchair and needing a step-free route. The information on transport, hotels and physical accessibility can still be useful more broadly, but the guide was not designed or tested for visual, hearing or cognitive disabilities. We want to make that clear before you buy.
Stairs only, no lift. Many travel guides do not make this clear. We also give you the exact alternative to use.
During our trip, the companion was admitted free at several attractions. The guide explains the conditions and documents requested, attraction by attraction.
It can be too restrictive. We explain what to check directly so you do not automatically rule out good options.
I handled every detail for a family member with reduced mobility: airport assistance, hotel choice, transport and attractions. This guide brings together what I learned so other families do not have to figure it all out by trial and error.
